Over 43 Lakh Pucca Houses Completed in Bihar for Poor Families

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Bihar has completed 43,14,959 pucca houses for poor families. The Rural Development Department approved construction for 49,09,740 beneficiaries against a target of 49,16,649 since 2016-17. The Bihar government has spent ₹56,743.40 crore on this scheme, which provides houses with basic amenities to houseless and kutcha house families in two implementation phases.
