Over 2 Lakh Telangana Voters Received SIR Notices Without Cited Reason

A study by the Sabar Institute and Constitutional Guardians Forum found that over 2.01 lakh voters in Telangana received Special Intensive Revision (SIR) notices with no stated reason for discrepancy. The analysis covered 92.85 lakh notices, 31.3% of the electorate. Highest notices were in Hyderabad border constituencies like Quthbullapur (66.6%) and Kukatpally (65.4%). Muslim voters accounted for 14.16% of notices.
