Over 1.28 Lakh Form-7s Filed Before Karnataka's Special Intensive Revision

Before the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Karnataka, over 1.28 lakh Form-7 applications were filed seeking deletion of names. Among these, 45,878 were submitted by third parties, who are neither the electors nor election officials. At least 28 Assembly constituencies saw more than 1,000 such applications each, with 2,254 bulk applications filed by 112 objectors.
