Orissa HC Issues Notice to BJD MLAs Over Cross-Voting in Rajya Sabha Polls

The Orissa High Court issued notices to five BJD MLAs regarding petitions seeking their disqualification for alleged cross-voting in the March 16 Rajya Sabha elections. Justice MS Sahoo directed suspended MLAs Arvind Mohapatra, Sanatan Mahakud, Chakramani Kanhar, Souvic Biswal, and Subasini Jena to respond by December 4. The hearing is scheduled for January 11.
