OpenAI launches efforts to improve public trust in data centers
Following Democratic wins in US midterm elections seen as a rejection of tech data centers, OpenAI announced new policies to build trust with local communities. The company will stop using non-disclosure agreements with public officials about future sites and provide residents access to construction plans and impact details. OpenAI also highlighted ongoing job creation from hardware updates every three to five years.
