ScienceOld Farmer's Almanac Predicts Cooler, Drier October for US
The Old Farmer’s Almanac forecasts that much of the United States will experience cooler than normal temperatures and average to drier conditions from October 11 to 20, 2026. The Almanac uses solar science, climatology, and meteorology, including El Nino patterns, to prepare its seasonal outlooks, which it claims are about 80% accurate. The Northeast is expected to see rain during this period.
