Odisha will conduct students' union elections across public colleges and universities on October 15, ending an eight-year gap. Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj announced the schedule after meeting Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Election notifications will be issued on October 7, nominations filed on October 9, and voting held on October 15. Elected representatives will take oath on October 16. The last elections were in 2017, suspended since 2018.
