NYC Mayor Mamdani Demands ICE Exit After Bronx Shooting
New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani demanded that President Donald Trump end ICE operations in New York City after a federal immigration agent shot a man in the Bronx while his five-year-old child was in the car. Mamdani called for ICE to be abolished, stating the agency makes the city less safe. He spoke with Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin but failed to secure the man's release. The shooting occurred around 4 pm in Marble Hill, Bronx.
