HealthNovo Nordisk Plans Childhood Obesity Pilots in India
Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk aims to launch pilot programs in India to address childhood and adolescent obesity. Emil Kongshøj Larsen, executive vice-president of International Operations, highlighted the long-term health benefits of early intervention to prevent obesity-related diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular issues. The company also supports increased public funding for chronic disease treatments and notes positive government involvement in diabetes care in India.
