No Voters Will Be Deleted Without Hearing, Says CEO Bengaluru

Bengaluru Chief Electoral Officer V Anbukkumar stated that all Form 7 applications for voter deletions will undergo hearings before any action. From June 16 to October 4, 91,278 Form 7 applications were received, but no objections to proposed inclusions were filed. Electoral officers will process applications with hearings by October 22, and false claims may lead to action under the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
