No Subsidised LPG Refills for Non-eKYC Users from October 1

From October 1, new rules require LPG consumers without biometric Aadhaar eKYC to buy non-subsidised LPG cylinders. These consumers can only purchase 5 or 10 kg cylinders at market prices after registering their unwillingness or inability to complete eKYC and consenting to free trade LPG refills. For example, in Hyderabad, a 14.2 kg subsidised cylinder costs ₹994, while a 5 kg FTL refill costs ₹846.50, increasing household expenses.
