Nine of the 12 recognized political parties in Tamil Nadu, including TVK and DMK, walked out of a meeting on the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls, demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. They alleged the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) last year was flawed and non-transparent, removing eligible voters from rolls. Only BJP, AIADMK, and NPP attended the meeting.
