Nine Hospitalised After Fire at Kurla High-Rise in Mumbai

A fire broke out early Tuesday morning at the Kohinoor HDIL Building No 5 in Kurla West, Mumbai, causing suffocation in eight people including a five-year-old child, and minor leg injuries to one person. The Mumbai Fire Brigade extinguished the fire by 7:30 am. All nine injured were taken to Rajawadi Hospital and are in stable condition. The fire was confined to electrical wiring and installations.
