BusinessNigeria Maintains OPEC Compliance with 1.5 Million bpd Crude Output in August
Nigeria sustained its compliance with its OPEC crude oil production quota for the fourth consecutive month in August, producing an average of 1,500,190 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission attributed the output recovery to resolving evacuation bottlenecks at the Erha field and stable production from key assets like Bonny and Forcados. Total oil production including condensates reached 1,677,777 bpd, a 0.4% increase from July.
