A newly engaged couple was rescued after being stranded by a rising tide on Keel Beach, Ireland, on October 26. They had gone for a walk to celebrate their engagement but got trapped on rocks as the tide rose quickly amid poor weather. The Irish Coast Guard coordinated a cliff rescue, descending nearly 500 feet to reach them, as boat and helicopter rescue attempts were too dangerous.
