New Wrestling Ranking System for 2028 LA Olympics Qualification

United World Wrestling has introduced a new world ranking system for the qualification cycle of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics starting January 1. The system rewards match victories more directly and emphasizes Ranking Series events. Three wrestlers per Olympic weight category will qualify via UWW rankings after the 2027 World Championships, which offer 72 quotas.
