Nepal to Receive $21.6 Million in First Climate Crisis Fund
The UN's Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD) decided this week to allocate $21.6 million to Nepal. This marks the first-ever financial aid acknowledging climate change's role in extreme events. The fund also endorses that developed nations, as historical polluters, must contribute to support vulnerable developing countries like Nepal.
