Neil Armstrong’s childhood home in Wapakoneta, Ohio, has been acquired by the Auglaize County Historical Society after a $400,000 donation from retired pilot Ken Schreiber. Schreiber, inspired by Armstrong’s 1969 moon landing, helped preserve the property. The society plans to restore the house to its original state and open it for public tours by 2030, marking Armstrong’s 100th birth anniversary.
