Neeru Dhanda Wins Historic Gold in Asian Games Trap Shooting

Neeru Dhanda won India's fifth gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games by setting an Asian record score of 28 in the women's trap individual final. She became the first Indian woman to win gold in the trap event at the Asian Games. Neeru dedicated her medal to her family, coach Mansher Singh, and Raja Randhir Singh, who won gold in 1978 and passed away this year. She also won silver in the trap team event.
