Neeraj Chauhan stuns Korean archer at Asian Games 2026
At the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, debutant Indian archer Neeraj Chauhan defeated South Korea's Kim Je-deok, a three-time Olympic medallist, 6-4 to reach the men's individual recurve quarter-finals. World Cup champion Dhiraj Bommadevara also advanced. In the women's event, 17-year-old Kumkum Mohod reached the quarters, while Kirti lost to Korea's Kang Chae-young. Indian recurve archers aim to surpass their previous quarter-final exits.
