The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has asked creditors to respond to Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra's petition challenging a National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) order in his personal insolvency case. The hearing is scheduled for October 29-30. The case involves a September 1 NCLT order that stayed an earlier order restraining Chandra from disposing of assets and a settlement proposal to repay ₹6.5 crore against claims of ₹22,006.57 crore.
