NCDEX launches NDEX and FINNDEX equity indices to expand market presence

NCDEX has entered the equity and equity derivatives markets by launching two new indices: NDEX and FINNDEX. NDEX includes 20 large Indian equities from the top 60 NSE-listed companies, while FINNDEX features 15 financial sector stocks excluding insurance firms. Both indices use a composite scoring method based on market capitalization, trading value, beta, and volatility, with a 15% cap on single-stock weight. They will be rebalanced biannually in March and September.
