Navy to Commission Indigenous Anti-Submarine Warship Mangrol

The Indian Navy will commission the shallow water anti-submarine warship Mangrol on October 12. Built by Cochin Shipyard Limited, this is the third vessel of its kind designed for coastal and shallow water operations. Equipped with advanced indigenous weapons and sensors, including Abhay sonar, lightweight torpedoes, and a rocket launcher, Mangrol enhances India's maritime security and anti-submarine capabilities.
