Myanmar Military Uses Paramotors as Weapons Against Civilians

In central Myanmar, the military has turned small flying machines like motorized paragliders into deadly weapons, dropping bombs on civilians from the sky. These aerial attacks occur almost daily, giving the military an advantage against pro-democracy forces. Since the 2021 coup, many protesters have fled and joined rebel groups fighting the junta. Guerrilla Moe Gyi described paramotors as symbols of death rather than excitement in Myanmar.
