MSRTC Announces ₹10,000 Diwali Bonus and DA Hike to 60% for 83,000 Employees

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) announced a ₹10,000 Diwali bonus for around 83,000 employees and increased the dearness allowance (DA) from 58% to 60%. Employees will also receive a ₹12,500 advance for the festival. The decision, made by Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, will add a ₹160 crore burden on MSRTC, which operates nearly 15,000 buses serving 55 lakh passengers daily.
