PoliticsMP Deputy CM Removes OSD Over ₹1 Crore Liquor Bribe Allegation
An officer on special duty (OSD) in Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda's office was removed after allegations surfaced that he accepted a ₹1 crore bribe from a liquor contractor for 2024-25. Devda, also the state excise minister, stated the officer, Deepam Raichura, was not his OSD when the bribe was allegedly taken. The allegations stem from a statement to the Enforcement Directorate by Mohit Gogia, linked to a ₹930 crore fraud. Devda ordered an inquiry following media reports.
