Mozambique's Zinave Park Rewilded with Rhinos, Elephants, and Lions
Zinave National Park in Mozambique suffered severe wildlife loss during a 16-year civil war. Since 2016, rewilding efforts have introduced rhinos, lions, and 250 elephants, helping restore the ecosystem and improve habitats. Conservation and anti-poaching programs protect the newly introduced species, including 37 rhinos and seven calves, revitalizing the park's biodiversity.
