A 16-year-old minor gave birth alone in a nursing home washroom in Uttarpara, Hooghly district, West Bengal, and allegedly threw her newborn baby girl out of the window, resulting in the baby's death. The incident occurred early Saturday after the girl was brought to the nursing home late Friday night due to severe abdominal pain. The newborn was found dead by a passerby, and the family claimed they were unaware of the pregnancy.
