Minister Criticizes Low-Key Rajyotsava Celebration in Kolar

Kolar's District In-charge Minister Ramalinga Reddy expressed displeasure over the modest Kannada Rajyotsava celebration held on a small premises with limited public attendance. MLA Kottur Manjunath, MP M Mallesh Babu, and MLC M L Anil Kumar also called for grander celebrations in future years. The 71st Karnataka Rajyotsava was held at Gandhivana, a venue too small for large gatherings. Reddy suggested moving celebrations to the district stadium with cultural programs.
