MDU Develops Patient-Specific Jaw Implant Using PEEK Material
A research team at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, developed a patient-specific jaw implant made from poly-ether ether ketone (PEEK) using a custom 3D printer. The project, supervised by Dr. Deepak Chhabra, won first prize at the university's National Technology Day exhibition, showcasing innovation in oral surgery.
