MDMA Seized from Inmates at Kannur Women’s Prison, Case Registered

Kannur Town police in Kerala registered a case after seizing MDMA, a banned narcotic, from inmates at Kannur Women’s Prison and Correctional Home on October 12. The substance was allegedly smuggled into the prison for inmate consumption. It was recovered from Roshni Savio, alias Sabira, with P.K. Rubaida suspected of handing it over. Legal action was taken under Kerala Prisons and Narcotic Drugs Acts.

Delhi University Plans Rs 8,000 Crore Hostels for 30,000+ Students

Delhi University is planning an Rs 8,000-crore project to build new hostels and redevelop existing ones to accommodate over 30,000 students.
