Maruti Suzuki Q2 Profit Falls 26% Amid Rural Demand Risks
Maruti Suzuki reported a 26% year-on-year drop in net profit to ₹2,466 crore for Q2 FY27, citing higher commodity prices, rising logistics costs, and capacity expansion investments. Despite a 27% increase in sales volume to 696,654 units and 26% revenue growth to ₹53,356 crore, the company warned that weak monsoon rains in states like Rajasthan, MP, and Karnataka could impact rural demand.
