Manipur Shutdown Extended in Kangpokpi After Two Kuki Bodies Found

The Committee on Tribal Unity (CoTU), a Kuki-Zo civil body, extended the total shutdown in Manipur's Kangpokpi district by 48 hours after the bodies of two missing Kuki individuals, Thangginlun Chongloi (21) and Paoginlal Hangsing (20), were found. They were abducted on October 28, allegedly by Naga groups. CoTU criticized the government for failing to rescue them and warned of further action if justice is not served by November 4.
