Residents, students, and volunteers in Bengaluru revived Malleswaram’s Elephant Park, also known as Aane Park, after nearly 20 years of neglect. They cleaned pathways, removed weeds, and painted surfaces. Activities for children and families were organized. The effort was initiated by Preeti Sunderajan, who involved the Horticulture Department and local residents. Students from Srishti Manipal Institute are creating a mural celebrating Malleswaram’s heritage.
