Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 30% rise in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹5,167 crore in Q2, driven by strong SUV demand, growth in logistics and components, and cost-saving measures. Revenue grew 25% to ₹57,553 crore. Passenger vehicle sales increased 26% to 183,000 units. This contrasts with Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai India, which saw profit declines due to rising commodity prices.
