Basavraj Patil, a veteran Marathwada politician and BJP leader, stated that the Maharashtra government led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made detailed plans to make the state drought-free. Despite the serious drought situation, Patil said people have great faith in Deva Bhau and will face the crisis with determination. The government has announced relief measures including moratorium on crop loans, electricity bill concessions for agricultural pumps, land revenue exemption, educational concessions, and urgent drinking water and fodder arrangements.
