Maharashtra FDA Suspends 19 Licenses, Seizes Patanjali Ghee

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suspended licenses of 19 food businesses, including a Patanjali Ayurved super distributor, during a special campaign in the festive season. Over 3.53 lakh kg of food worth ₹9.01 crore was seized from 114 establishments across seven divisions. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 2,279.7 liters of Patanjali cow ghee worth ₹20.20 lakh was seized for suspected adulteration and misbranding.
