Maharashtra FDA Chief Advises Children Against Joining IAS

Tukaram Mundhe, Maharashtra FDA Commissioner and senior IAS officer, advised in a Pimpri-Chinchwad interview that he would tell his children not to join the IAS. Instead, he encourages them to become public leaders or entrepreneurs, believing Gen-Z youth should not be confined by bureaucratic constraints. Mundhe highlighted the personal toll of an administrative career and promotes societal contribution beyond the IAS.
