Maharashtra Charity Commissioner Seeks Tata Trusts' Reply on Trustee Complaints
The Maharashtra Charity Commissioner has asked the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT), the largest shareholder of Tata Sons, to respond by October 12 to complaints from trustees Venu Srinivasan and Vijay Singh. They raised concerns about SDTT's management, alleging interference in Tata Sons' commercial affairs and risks to the trust's charitable status. Srinivasan also urged action against SDTT chairman Noel Tata if wrongdoing is found.
