Low Pressure in Bay of Bengal to Become Cyclone by October 26

A low pressure area has formed over the east-central and southeast Bay of Bengal and is expected to intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 26. It will likely move towards north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts. The system will develop into a depression on October 24, deepen on October 25, and become a cyclonic storm by October 26, says the Meteorological Department. Andhra Pradesh may see heavy rainfall due to the northeast monsoon.
