Liquor Bottles Thrown at CPI(M) Leader's House in Kolkata, He Blames BJP

CPI(M) leader and former Rajya Sabha member Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya alleged that miscreants attacked his house in Purba Lok, South-East Kolkata, early Thursday morning by throwing liquor bottles and damaging CCTV cameras. The attackers, reportedly on motorcycles, also abused and threatened him. Bhattacharya blamed BJP-backed goons for the incident and has filed an FIR with East Jadavpur police. He plans to apply for a revolver license for self-defense.
