Learjet Crash in Florida Kills All 9 Onboard

A Learjet 60 carrying nine people crashed in a residential area near Cresthaven, Florida, killing everyone on board. The crash occurred around 12:50 pm ET. The plane had departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Texas, en route to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy called it a "horrific tragedy."
