L&T Wins Over ₹5,000 Crore Orders for Dhaka Metro Line 1 Systems

Larsen & Toubro's transportation division has secured major design-and-build contracts worth over ₹5,000 crore for key system packages of the Dhaka Metro Line 1 in Bangladesh. The orders cover track works, electrical systems, signalling, telecommunications, and platform screen doors for Bangladesh's first underground metro project. L&T previously delivered systems for Dhaka Metro Line 6, now operational.
