L&T Expands Chennai AI Campus with 52 MW Data Centre

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is expanding its AI infrastructure in Chennai through its digital arm Vyoma.AI by starting construction of a 52 MW data centre at its Kancheepuram campus. This expansion adds to the existing 30 MW facility and supports a gigawatt-scale AI Factory campus. The project includes deploying 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs for AI workloads and follows a major order from US-based Together AI. The Tamil Nadu government has also signed an ₹18,600-crore investment pact with L&T.
