Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru railway station, formerly known as Bangalore City station or Majestic, has been a key part of Bengaluru's transport for nearly six decades. Opened in 1968 to meet growing railway traffic, it now has 10 platforms handling over 180 trains daily. The station serves more than 4,500 daily visitors, connecting trains, BMTC buses, and the Metro at the city's central transport hub.
