Between September 9 and 30, Kochi City Police registered 2,003 cases against private bus crew members for violations including dangerous driving, racing, excessive honking, drunk driving, and lack of valid licenses. The crackdown also found 407 cases of crew not wearing uniforms, 221 cases of passengers traveling with doors open, and 280 cases of buses not stopping at designated stops, among other offenses.
