KMF Raises Prices of Ghee, Butter, and Paneer in Karnataka

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has increased prices of ghee, butter, and paneer following earlier hikes in milk and curd prices. Effective November 5, 2024, ghee prices rose significantly, with a one-litre sachet now ₹850, up from ₹715. Butter and paneer prices also saw increases. The last price hike was in July 2026. P.C. Rao of Bangalore Hotels Association criticized the move as a heavy financial burden.
