The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has increased the price of curd by Rs 14 per litre and raised prices of some special and toned milk varieties by up to Rs 12. This follows a recent Rs 8 per litre hike in milk prices approved by the state Cabinet. Consumers and hoteliers in Bengaluru have criticized the frequent and steep price increases, calling the curd hike unscientific and unreasonable.
