HealthKIMS Saveera Performs Advanced Surgery for Coronary Clot Patient
Doctors at KIMS Saveera Hospital in Anantapur successfully treated 60-year-old R. Annapurna from Guntakal, who suffered a severe heart attack caused by a massive blood clot blocking a major coronary artery. After conventional methods failed, the team used an advanced mechanical thrombectomy with the CATRx catheter and Penumbra aspiration system to restore blood flow. The patient had coronary artery ectasia and an inferior wall myocardial infarction.
