Kim Sae-ron’s Mother and Fake Aunt Face Charges Over False Claims

South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, announced that Kim Sae-ron’s mother and a person impersonating her aunt have been referred to prosecutors for spreading false information about the actor. Charges include defamation, unlawful distribution of recorded material, and attempted coercion. Kim Sae-ron’s father was not referred. Lawyer Boo Ji-seok and YouTuber Kwon Young-chan were also referred after separate investigations.

Delhi HC refuses to stay probe into journalists accused of casteist remarks on ACP...

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday declined to stay the investigation into two journalists accused of making casteist remarks against ACP Vivek Bhagat. The journalists allegedly humiliated the officer and obstructed his duties during an October 3 protest. Justice Mini Pushkarna said the investigation cannot be stayed without reviewing the Delhi Police's status report. The court issued notice on the petition seeking quashing of the FIR against the journalists.
